Elvis: A Musical Revolution returns to Sydney

In the seemingly ever-increasing jukebox musical landscape, another musical has landed back in Sydney. This time, it’s the turn of Elvis: A Musical Revolution to return to the State Theatre for a second run from 4th February, before embarking on a national tour. The show had its world premiere in Sydney last year to strong reviews before embarking on small regional tours around the world including in Philadelphia. Interestingly, the musical is the first of its type to be officially authorised by Elvis Presley Enterprises, carefully retelling the story of the man from Memphis.

The production features an all-Australian cast led by Sydneysider Rob Mallett as Elvis and includes over 40 iconic Elvis Presley hits, such as Jailhouse Rock, Hound Dog, That’s All Right, All Shook Up, Suspicious Minds, Heartbreak Hotel, Burning Love, Blue Suede Shoes, Good Rockin’ Tonight, Don’t Be Cruel, Are You Lonesome, Return to Sender, Teddy Bear, A Big Hunk O’ Love, See See Rider, Can’t Help Falling In Love, A Little Less Conversation, Guitar Man and more.

“Sydney hasn’t seen the show like this and we can’t wait to hear responses to these new updates that Melbourne audiences are loving!” says Producer David Venn.
